Sean spent four years working as a writer for the multi-talented Ian Danter on his capital radio BRMB Drive Time show. ‘the Barmie Brummies’ and his Heart FM show ‘ the Sunday Carve up’. They were broadcast well before the watershed and if you listen back to extracts from them now it’s hard to believe they got away with some of the content.

Black Country Bob
Ian and Sean created the character of the politically incorrect MP for Dudley ,Black country Bob. They also wrote the intro song together. It was set at PMQ’s. Sean is the voice of Bob, Ian is Tony Blair and all the rest. Audio Clip Black Country Bob
When a child is born
It was December and the Johnny Mathis Xmas classic was playing. Ian and Sean decided to do a version with more realistic lyrics. Audio Clip Mathis
